7/30 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Little Bob Story: Come See Me

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is Come See Me by Little Bob Story. Great red telephone and chrome post-modern lamp...and and nice shorts. Sometimes it's hard to remember what people wore during certain time periods and sometimes it's hard to forget. Luckily for this cover, there are a couple of reasons to overlook the dated shorts pulled up over her belly.

7/28 Cheesecake & WTF Album Cover of the Day - Blow Fly: Disco

WTF? Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is Disco by Blow Fly. The photo used on the album cover looks like some type of caption contest from an adult magazine. Three half naked ladies appear to be really happy while a man (Blow Fly) stands in the foreground wearing a gold costume.....all the while the turntable just sits there, not playing. I have never listened to this album, but it's on my bucket list. What I want to know is how ugly is the woman in the background on the left that she is back there with her face covered? ...Because the woman in the front certainly has her, uh, faults.

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is another cheater that doesn't seem to available on vinyl. The album is the 2005 debut of the Sex Slaves entitled Bite Your Tongue. Not really something you'd see on a 1950's cheesecake vinyl LP cover, but let's fix that...

WTF Album Cover: Yilmaz Koksal - Naked Women in an Egg & Baby Chickens

OK, so there are two nude women on this album cover, one with enormous boobs, and their both coming out of an egg.....and there are baby chicks all around, and some guy (presumably the artist) with a bird on his head. Yeah, I would definitely buy this from the bargain bin at the record store.

Bassholes, Long Way Blues - Cheesecake Album Cover

Don't know what is going on in the album cover, but it is a woman without a shirt on wearing a lei....doing something outside a grass hut. The album is Bassholes, Long Way Blues 1996-1998. Bassholes music is sort of like electric punk blues.

Nashville Pussy, Let Them Eat Pussy - Cheesecake Album Cover

Nashville Pussy. Let Them Eat Pussy. Never heard of them? Well it's a real band. Roots rock, heavy metal, sleaze rock, with lots of references to sex. And really, they're pretty good. Not the best most unique voice on the lead singer (who's married to the guitarist who is a bit of an exhibitionist) but not bad. With songs like Keep On Fuckin' with lyrics like "Keep on fuckin', well it's God's first commandment, keep on fuckin', even the dogs understand it," the band isn't looking for Justin-Bieber-mainstream-success.

The Sins of Thy Beloved, Lake of Sorrow - Cheesecake Album Cover

If you actually enjoy the easy listening music on a lot of the vintage 1950's-60's era cheesecake album....well than, you'll hat The Sins of Thy Beloved. It isn't easy listening, it isn't pop. Think orchestra meets Metalocolypse meets Enya meets Celtic folk....in Norway. It might be classified as Gothic Metal, but the only thing metal about it is the deep gruff screaming. If you're curious try out an mp3 for 99 cents and check them out.

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is from the Fiesta Mexicana album on the RCA Victor label by Los Trovadores De Mexico. The album cover features a woman who is playing a guitar and wearing a sombrero....and likely going to wish that the guitar she is playing had a shoulder strap.

J.D. Bryant - I Won't Be Coming Back 45 Record Sells for Book Plus One, $8001

It never ceases to amaze me the crappy photos people will take of records that they sell on eBay. This is an $8,000-12,000 record for God's sake! Yet the seller on eBay got away with taking a photo of the label and saying it was an 8-8+. The record sold for $8001. This scarce Northern Soul find was said to be from a private collection in Detroit and the seller needed money for medical expenses. Shrine Records no. 108. By the way....what's up with the check marks? Somebody and their new pen cost this seller thousands of dollars!

7/8 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Buckie Shirakata: Koga Melody

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is Koda Melody by Buckie Shirakata and his Aloha Harmonia. This was a Japanese release on the Teichiku label. The cover art goes beyond the cheesecake into the realm of silliness. Sure there's an attractive enough model (non-Japanese on a Japanese label, of course) eating grapes in a seductive manner, but there's also the GIANT text at the top of the album cover....."Best and Best Cool Sound"!!!  Well, if you weren't drawn in by Buckie Shirakata's new album, or the photo of the naked lady eating grapes, surely you just had to buy the album because it was the "best and best cool sound!"

7/7 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Gil Ventura: Sax Club Nr. 16

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is the 1977 release by Gil Ventura, Sax Club #16. Ventura is another jazz / world fusion artist who likes to put the ladies on the album covers.
