4/27 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Dan Hill: Sounds Electronic 66/33

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day goes to Dan Hill's 66/33 Sounds Electronic - 33 Great Hits of 1966, Perfect for Dancing. Released on the CBS label, the LP cover shows a woman in fishnet stockings sitting on the floor beside a pile of stereo equipment. I believe that the photographer wants us to believe that she's listening to music....problem is though that the tonearm isn't over the record. Ah, details.

Dan Hill also had a series of other Sounds Electronic records with cheesecake covers. Here are a few other examples...

4/26 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Michael Stevens: Disco Hits

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is for the LP record, Disco Hits, by Michael Stevens. The record is a French release on the MFP label. Here again, the label could have incorporated wet white shirt and cute girl while disco dancing in order to fit the genre, but opted instead for the half-submersed in water scene.

4/23 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Dwarves: Come Clean

Today's cheesecake album cover of the day is the "Come Clean" album by Dwarves. The Chicago native band really tried to appeal to a vast audience with this cover; who doesn't like nude women, little people and playing air guitar?  The record album itself also came in picture disc format. The picture discs might be hard to find, but the album itself on CD and mp3 in addition to one copy of the vinyl version can be found on Amazon. Below is an example of the picture disc version.

4/22 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Music of the Strip

Today's cheesecake vinyl record album cover of the day is another Japanese release (they like their boobies in Japan, and really enjoyed putting them on album covers) on the Parkway label, entitled Music of the Strip. In post WWII Japan, I would think that finding Western girls to do countless nude photo shoots wouldn't have been the easiest thing in the world, yet for ever one Japanese model on a cover, you see about a hundred Caucasian women on covers.

4/16 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Kay Martin: I Know What He Wants for Christmas...

Today's Cheesecake Vinyl Record Album Cover of the Day is an early 1960's release on the Fax label. The record is Kay Martin and Her Body Guards, I Know What He Wants for Christmas...But I Don't Know How to Wrap It! Kay Martin was a model who took a shot at a recording career. So the photos on her album covers are all her, whereas many less attractive singers used models to entice customers to buy their albums. She also worked as a singer in night clubs.

4/15 Cheesecake Album Cover of the Day - Hot Hits 12

Today's cheesecake vinyl record album cover of the day is Hot Hits 12. Don't know what Hot Hits one through eleven had on their covers, but #12 shows a scantily bikini clad lady on a tennis court in a pose that is nothing short of staged. C'mon, she's facing away from the net, down on the ground, has the ball in her hand, and she's wearing an itsy bitsy yellow bikini....when does this ever happen in a tennis match?
